It was then that I carried you.

one night  a man had a drean. He dereamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life . In each scene he noticed two sets of foot-prints

in the sand, one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.

 

When the last scene flashed before him he looked back at the foot-prints and noticed that

many times along the path there was only one sets of foot-prints. He also noticed that this

happended during the lowest and saddest times in his life.

 

This bothered him and he questioned the Lord " Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,

you would walk beside me all the way. But I noticed that during the most trousome times of

my life, there was one on set of foor-prints. I don't understand why. When I needed you most,

you deserted me"

 

The lord replied " My precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times

of trial and suffering when you saw only one set of foot-prints. It was then that I carried you.
